Notes
A young but structured red wine, with bright and fruity aromas. The color is intense red with purple tones. Prevalent is the red berry fruit, the wild violet, and a flavor inherited from the soil. Upon bottle aging the wine develops toasted aromas, however, there is no aging in wood. The high acidity and complexity of structure, completed by the lightness of the tannin, balance each other by leveling the perception of the alcohol content.
Suggested pairings
Platters of cured meats and cheeses, spaghetti with ragù, traditional Piedmontese dishes such as polenta and stew, meat second courses, dry pastry desserts, jam tarts.
